Match report Enderby U15 won there first match of the season by the closest of margins.
Enderby bowling first with pacemen Danny and Jas taking 4 wickets in the first severn overs.Ablyassisted by the follow up bowlers it was a much improved bowling performance with just 25 runs off the bat Huncote finished their innings at 50-6.
Danny and Robin opened and started brightly before Robin was caught .Karl Batchelor came in at 3 and batted cautiously as Danny mishit a full toss to deep cover and left scoring 12.Batters came and went hitting the ball in the air when a more measured approach would have been a better tactic.
At 40-8 Huncote were in the driving seat as the U13`s Harry ,Sam and Callum were the batsmen left along with.With overs on just 14 there was plenty of time to win with sensible batting and Harry showed the way after Sam went again caught close to the bat.This brought the youngest player onto the field and the little and large pairing of he and Harry edged closer defending straight balls and easing singles as Enderby passed the winning line Harry finishing on 6* and Callum 1* .
